Job Description:

Switchboard Operator - Full Time

The PBX Operator is responsible for providing pleasant and efficient incoming communication and outgoing communication for internal and external customers.

Job Description:

• Performs overhead pages in a clear concise manner.
• Answer phones promptly and transfers to correct department
• Ability to page emergency codes/alerts in a clear and calm manner
• Responsible for notifying on call staff members for all designated departments.
• Maintain emergency cell phones for the hospital.
• Monitors Bio-med alarms, security cameras and notifies proper personnel.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pleasant speaking voice
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to navigate through multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Ability to think independently with little supervision.
