The PBX Operator is responsible for providing pleasant and efficient incoming communication and outgoing communication for internal and external customers.
Job Description:
Performs overhead pages in a clear concise manner.
Answer phones promptly and transfers to correct department
Ability to page emergency codes/alerts in a clear and calm manner
Responsible for notifying on call staff members for all designated departments.
Maintain emergency cell phones for the hospital.
Monitors Bio-med alarms, security cameras and notifies proper personnel.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pleasant speaking voice
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to navigate through multiple computer systems simultaneously.
Ability to think independently with little supervision.
