Job Objective:

This is a part-time seasonal job that will support the Territorial World Missions Department with administrative and driving responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with Summer Mission Team preparation including organizing and packing supplies, processing check requests, and other office tasks.
• Support the Summer Mission Team orientation and debriefing including assisting with meals, picking up catering orders, airport drop-offs/pick-ups, and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with the Central Bible Leadership Institute (CBLI) Missions Project preparations.
• Travel to Wonderland Camp in Wisconsin will be required one day during employment.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass MVR requirements to drive Salvation Army vehicles.
• Physical requirements include: good speaking, hearing and vision ability.
• Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Working Conditions:

This is an on-site position at The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

The dates of employment are as follows:

June 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14

July 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28

A maximum of 7.25 hours will be worked per day.
