JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are a fully-remote software development company that sells subscription-based Software As A Service (SaaS) and we are looking to expedite our growth by adding another developer. We need someone capable of working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable communicating with other team members. They must also be very proficient at testing and debugging code with a fine attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in requirements and estimating of features alongside team lead and product manager.
  • Follow version control strategy and code commits.
  • Follow Jira workflow and actively update features (user stories) as you complete them.
  • Work with QA to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Work with CS team to help analyze, debug, and resolve tickets and bugs.
  • Perform code reviews on fellow developer's code commits as they complete features.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and offer input on process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Software Engineering or similar.
  • 5+ years' experience as a hands-on software developer with the following languages:
    1. .NET Framework
      • VB, C#, Web Forms, Web API
    2. HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
    3. SQL Server
  • Experience with the following is a plus:
    1. React (Native, Mobile)
    2. 3rd party controls such as Telerik
    3. Jira
    4. Microsoft Azure
  • Experience using Git or other source control.
  • Solid coding, testing, and debugging skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to work in a team environment, as well as individually.
