About Ameren Illinois

Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.

The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency is responsible for the oversight of company and contractor implemented programs within Ameren Illinois' Energy Efficiency portfolio. Their specific focus will be to build partnerships with existing community organizations and leaders that encourage limited income communities, local businesses and residents in those communities to take full advantage of available energy efficiency opportunities. The successful candidate will work along a very talented market development team and be responsible for overall planning and execution of projects ensuring we meet energy efficiency strategic objectives.

  • Key responsibilities include:

    • Maintain an appropriate positive and mutually beneficial business relationship with business, professional groups, and industry allies in support of Ameren Illinois' energy efficiency objectives.
    • Assist in the development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies that increase customer satisfaction and motivate customers to implement energy efficiency and demand response projects.
    • Support internal and external program communication and outreach needs.
    • Track program metrics. Prepare status reports to accurately monitor progress against program objectives, timelines, budgets and goals.
    • Lead the development, implementation and tracking of projects using project management best practices.
    • Stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency and demand response.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., contract compliance, marketing, accounting, technology, data reporting, engineering). May waive degree requirement for candidates with nine or more years of directly relevant experience, or for candidates with an Associate's degree with seven or more years of directly relevant experience.

    *Technical career path level and salary depends upon applicant's credentials.
