What You'll Do:

The Enterprise Technology Solutions Department is responsible for aligning the strategic direction and tactical delivery of non-core clearing technology applications and tools that support multiple business functions within OCC. This Full-Time role will be a subject matter expert with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) configurations and functionality, having a deep understanding of financial budgeting and forecast modules, enabling complex planning logic and workflows, proficient in using all supporting technical tools, guide business users to define requirements, investigate and implement needed configuration changes to affected modules, test and deploy all changes, and lead efforts to implement cross-functional technical solutions.

The candidate must be able to solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and proactively engage in technical decision making to achieve these objectives. This individual will be a team player and work well with business, technical and non-technical professionals in an agile environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Ability to lead the full cycle development of configurations / integrations to support OCC's use of Oracle PBCS (Financial Statements, Workforce Planning modules)

  • Detailed knowledge of the Essbase cube and dimensional structure of Oracle PBCS (Financial Statements, Workforce Planning modules).

  • Recommend and develop detailed customized reports using multiple reporting tools (e.g. Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, Oracle Business Intelligence/SQL Developer, and Tableau).

  • Lead the configuration of customized business rule logic to support the Budget and Forecast planning process in PBCS

  • Ability to translate functional requirements from OCC's Corporate Finance team into technical solutions

  • Direct solutions that align with the firm wide architecture and technology strategy, and business objectives (OKRs)

  • Oversee documentation, configuration, testing, and implementation of enhancements and upgrades.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to resolve Production issues

  • Review changes associated with Oracle releases and effectively communicate to business partners

  • Ensure proper formal sign-off on requirements and user acceptance activities.

  • Manage and escalate Oracle Service Requests

  • Participate in peer reviews, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and defects as well as assisting with continuous improvement

  • A team player who assists the team as required to achieve collective goals & delivery milestones including knowledge-share

  • Embrace and advocate for Agile best practices for software development discipline (be true to Agile Manifesto)

  • Actively participate in creation and review of both business and technical user stories, providing constructive feedback and input on both work effort estimation as well as architecture/design improvements

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in configuring and supporting Oracle Hyperion Planning or PBCS (experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP modules is a bonus)

  • Proficient in Essbase calculation language and / or Groovy scripting

  • Proficient in building Oracle PBCS & ERP Reports in multiple formats using reporting tools: Smart View, Data Forms, OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio, and Tableau

  • Proficient in integration methods to and from the Oracle suite (Financial Data Management, EPM Automate, Linus Shell Scripts, File-Based Data Import, Oracle APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud development preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using MS Office tools

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline

  • Any equivalent combination of education and work experience / technical skills

  • Experience working with FP&A professionals and strong familiarity with the Budget & Forecast planning cycles

  • Knowledge of development lifecycle under Agile (JIRA preferred)

Certificates or Licenses:

  • Oracle EPM / ERP technical certifications from Oracle University (Preferred)
