Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Leadership Specialist to join our Talent Management Team. In this role you will be responsible for the design, governance, and functional excellence of leadership and organizational development resources with a primary focus on resources that can improve leadership capability. These resources include Gore's competency frameworks and leadership practices, Enterprise leader, high potential and diverse talent development programs, and the development of a leadership coaching practice and a suite of assessment tools for the Enterprise.

This position will be located at a US East facility (Newark, Delaware or Elkton, Maryland) or US West facility (Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona), with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain Gore's leadership and Associate competency frameworks aligned to changes in business needs and priorities; provide guidance and governance on the use of Gore competencies across all talent processes
  • Develop and provide governance with subject matter expertise for 1) a leadership coaching practice, and 2) a suite of assessment tools for the Enterprise
  • Facilitate the administration of Enterprise Leader, HiPo & Diverse Talent Development Programs (i.e., G100, McKinsey, Leadership Presence, LP360)
  • Collaborate with Center and OpCo HR team members to execute work, ensure effective integration with other talent processes, and enable OpCos to leverage these resources to build leadership pipelines/pools and improve leadership capability
  • Determine, track, and assess program/initiative goals, outcomes, and measures; make improvements based on data, insights, metrics, feedback, and best practice research to maximize value and effectiveness
  • Identify providers/resources, facilitate execution of and adherence to service agreements, serve as the Enterprise single point of contact, create standards for service providers (where needed), assess provider performance and agreements to ensure the performance outcomes and ROI desired

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience specifically, in an organizational or leadership development role focused on the design and implementation of coaching and leadership development for mid to senior leadership roles (i.e., Leader of Leaders & Enterprise leaders)
  • Certified Coach
  • Certified in multiple leadership assessment tools (e.g., Korn Ferry, Hogan, Kolbe, CCL, Gallup, MBTI, DISC, etc..)
  • Demonstrated experience developing plans and gaining alignment across the organization to achieve positive business outcomes aligned to Enterprise goals
  • Strong track record of developing people to help them meet their career goals and support the Enterprise's needs
  • Ability to influence others using compelling information to gain the support and commitment of others
  • Proven ability to make good and timely decisions, and drive clear decision making in complex and dynamic situations
  • Can operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the path forward is not clear
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences, including Enterprise leaders
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
