Job Description

Position Summary:
The Patient Care Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the activities of the Cardiac Diagnostic Department including Echocardiography Lab, Vascular Lab, EKG, Heart Center and Cardiac Rehab. This position will have oversight of HVI cardiovascular diagnostic procedures and related services at outreach areas. The Manager has twenty-four (24) accountability for these diagnostic operations.

Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Related Field

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or
  • Licensed Perfusionist or Licensed Paramedic (LP) or
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology Registry or
  • Registered Nurse (RN) and
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Three (3) years Management

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Budgetary experience in the management of fiscal data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team and customers both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of basic PC applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee daily operation of vascular lab, echo lab, EKG, nuclear medicine, and HVI diagnostic services.
  • Manage team to meet inpatient, outpatient, and ED testing needs.
  • Responsible for patient satisfaction and quality performance.
  • Responsible for employee engagement.
  • Work with physician dyad partners to manage vascular lab, echo lab, cardiac rehab, and other HVI diagnostics.
  • Lead development of standards and metrics to support expansion of HVI diagnostic services to regional partners.
  • Oversee daily operation of vascular lab, echo lab, EKG, nuclear medicine, and HVI diagnostic services. (including HVI outreach areas)
  • Manage team to meet inpatient, outpatient, and ED HVI Diagnostic testing needs.
  • Work with physician dyad partners to manage vascular lab, echo lab, cardiac rehab, and other HVI diagnostic services
  • Lead development of standards and metrics to support expansion of HVI diagnostic services to regional partners - HVI branding
  • Lead quality outcome and process improvement initiatives related to HVI diagnostics
  • Oversee daily operation of vascular lab, echo lab, EKG, nuclear medicine, and HVI diagnostic services. (including HVI outreach areas)
