Job Description
This role provides data-driven facilities management insights to JLL clients' facilities using (i) JLL's smart building, Internet of Things (IoT) platform and service, and (ii) additional JLL tools and platforms that support our Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) programs. This position is virtual.

This role is to provide data-driven facilities management insights to JLL clients' facilities using JLL's of client technologies that support JLL's Internet of Things (IoT) platform and service through its global network of subject matter experts comprising JLL's Intelligent Operations Center (IOC). The candidate will coordinate resolution of recommended enhancements, improved control strategies, and other changes to drive towards the lowest total cost of ownership with facility maintenance and customers. The ideal candidate will have a combination of experience in energy analysis, facilities engineering systems, building automation systems, reliability centered maintenance is a plus, energy and sustainability, project management and advanced level skills in data analytics.

Defining and implementing new installations
Review documentation from existing systems to identify key monitoring points that will drive value in energy, maintenance or equipment reliability and integrate these points into the JLL platform.
At times, work with project teams to integrate different building management/automation systems, energy management systems and other systems that monitor and control equipment and spaces in all types of facilities.
Work with vendors, clients, site facility teams, networking and information security teams to establish connections to remote systems.

Data Management & Analysis
Review output smart building platform analytics. Work closely with the site engineering and maintenance teams to correct the root cause of the detected anomaly detected.
Ensure data quality and continuous data flow from all monitored systems and points.
Troubleshoot connection issues with remote systems and work with on-site resources and colleagues.
Develop new analytics in the JLL platform as needs arise. Document and review with team members for roll out to different client sites.
Utilize more advanced analysis techniques as needed (statistical analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning, etc.).
Perform building automation system (BAS) event triage to understand BAS performance and communicate same to other stakeholders

Energy and Facilities Management
Familiarity with facilities management, maintenance practices, mechanical and HVAC engineering and reliability engineering in order to be able to analyze data to determine best practices.
Ability to perform energy analysis at the building, meter and equipment level. Provide energy savings calculations for improvements made based on recommendations. Perform ROI analysis.
Understanding of equipment operation and design. Ability to analyze sequences of operation to determine proper operation of equipment and the ability to suggest better control strategies.

Communication and Reporting
Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis to different levels of the organization including maintenance technicians, building automation experts, facility mangers and senior leaders.
Support site engineering teams in their troubleshooting efforts. Understand the different causes of failure for equipment.
Report results regularly using standardized reporting as well as custom reports as needed.
Train users to review the user interface to perform their own analysis and see results from smart building analytics.
Work with clients to develop custom dashboards to fit their needs on the smart building user interface (UI).

Business Development
Develop case studies and reports and perform system demonstrations for business development efforts to expand adoption of the platform within existing clients and new clients.
Identify areas of focus that can reduce costs or expand services at existing clients.
Work with other groups within JLL to refine and develop new products and services.

Qualifications:
BS in technical field (engineering, computer science, mathematics, information technology or similar), or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant facilities energy management experience. Knowledge of sustainability and energy principles and concepts, particularly related to the built environment
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation systems across a variety of building types including commercial offices and datacenters.
Strong oral and written communication skills
MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Presentation skills
