Job Title: Chinese Bilingual Retail Associate - Bookselling
Location: Seattle, WA (98104)
Work hour(Shift): 9:30am - 6:30pm or 11:15am - 8:15pm
Classification: Non-Exempt, direct-hire, full-time

An international retail store in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Chinese Bilingual Store Associate. This position entails providing excellent customer service for the Chinese book section and maintaining the store's cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Chinese at a business level and have at least one year of experience in book selling.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to all store procedures according to company standards.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and product location.
  • Conduct register sales transactions accurately, following established cash control procedures.
  • Support fellow employees by completing tasks and sharing knowledge.
  • Resolve customer concerns with a focus on customer satisfaction, escalating issues to the Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure a positive, seamless, and consistent customer experience.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of book selling experience.
  • Fluency in Chinese is required.
  • Basic MS Office skills are required.
