Description
Decentralized pharmacist activities supporting the 425-licensed bed hospital. Activities may include supporting the Emergency Department which averages 180+ visits per day, the 24-bed Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or general medicine units with some centralized activities.
The Registered Pharmacist - PH Pharmacyreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Under minimal supervision, functions in all sections of the Pharmacy; prepares drugs for distribution; provides drug information and clinical pharmacy services; maintains drug control; provides work direction to certified and non-certified Pharmacy Technicians.
REQUIREMENTS
This position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period, day shift, 7:00 a,m. to 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekend (every 3rd) and holiday rotation is required.
Decentralized activities approximate 80% of time.

Qualifications
Additional qualifications, preferred
* Completion of a PGY1 - Pharmacy residency
* One or more years' experience in cardiology
* Currently holds Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or Cardiology Pharmacist (BCCP) or plans to sit for certification within 1 year of hire
