Responsibilities

The Distribution operation at MRSF-Central in Bloomington, IL provides supply chain services for State Farm. This includes value added warehousing, product distribution, and other supply chain solutions for our agents, employees and policyholders. In general, products stored and distributed include general use stock items, technology equipment, and catastrophe items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates various machinery such as printer, inserter, sorter, stock picker and forklift, postage machine
  • Manages outbound and inbound mail, including preparation and distribution of various documents
  • Utilizes software programs for mail, asset tracking, completed print work, inventory, maintenance, etc.
  • Serves as a Liaison and resource for business partners, and vendor inquiries and will troubleshoot for resolution
  • Processes requests for projects, moves, deployments, electronic/wireless, maintenance, meeting space, etc.
  • Verifies inventory records, processes invoices and initiates payment process
  • Maintains service and tracks facilities maintenance, technology issues and floor plans


Qualifications

Items of Note:

  • May be required to have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL B)
  • Must complete and maintain State Farm safety, regulatory, and compliance courses specific to the role
  • May be required to work in multiple functions
  • May require activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time
  • May require overnight travel
  • May be required to provide catastrophe support
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license to lawfully operate vehicles as directed by State Farm
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. individually or increased weight with the use of equipment
  • May be required to work beyond normal business hours, including varying shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, based on workload and as operations dictates
  • Must be able to distinguish colors for AV, electrical and communication work and wiring
