Summary:

This role is focused on an MDU assigned portfolio with the goal of driving new connects and subscriber growth in buildings larger than 50 units. It is a dynamic opportunity to represent Astound Broadband in direct sales initiatives in the Greater Chicagoland markets. The Large MDU DSR will be responsible for the selling of our full line of internet, video, and mobile services to multi-dwelling units (MDUs) while maintaining and growing MDU penetration goals in existing contracted properties. This role will be accountable for generating and developing business relationships with building owners and property management companies to achieve installation and penetration goals while improving and innovating the customer experience.

Compensation includes base, commission, and bonus incentives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a bi-weekly sales quota.
  2. Manage and grow customer penetration across an assigned portfolio of multi-dwelling communities to meet and exceed targets.
  3. Reach monthly installation goals by selling internet and additional services to new residential customers in assigned multi-dwelling properties.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with Property Managers and Leasing Agents within MDU properties to drive productivity, retention, and manage churn
  5. Describe and demonstrate the features, benefits and value of Astound product offerings and services.
  6. Work with properties to ensure contractual rights are upheld in accordance with Right of Entry Agreements
  7. Meet company established revenue generating activity requirements for prospecting including regular site visits while dispositioning the status of your portfolio, contacts, presentations and sales.
  8. Act as a single resource for sales, product, technical, and/or customer care issues and proactively follow-up with customers and internal teams for fast resolution.
  9. Perform comprehensive monthly and quarterly building review meetings to ensure a high level of customer experience and escalate any concerns to management as necessary.
  10. Obtain new customers in a residential market through professional, face-to-face interaction with residents, property management groups, and other referral sources.
  11. Develop relationship with property personnel to secure lobby events or social events that puts Astound at the forefront and creates sales opportunities
  12. Seek additional properties based on assigned management companies to increase territory
  13. Utilize cold calling techniques.
  14. Aggressively pursue any leads provided daily.
  15. Distribute marketing material and participating in special sale events
  16. Understand customer needs and articulate solutions
  17. Attend mandatory sales meetings
  18. Report sales statistics accurately and promptly to management
  19. Stay up to date with what the competition is doing in your territory

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is a must
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Sales or marketing background in the telecommunications industry is a plus but not required
    • Property management experience is a plus but no required
    • Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
    • Excellent communications, relationship building, organizational, presentation and influence skills
