Purpose of the Job

Our client's hardware business is focused on growing its brands and product portfolio and has since expanded to include services and subscriptions. As a member of this team, you get to help drive the highest priority initiatives for their Marketing organization through their proprietary program.

Supporting our client's Marketing program, the role sits within the Strategy, Insights, Analytics and Operations Group in Marketing. You are tasked with helping to drive the organization forward, and helping foster culture and community through selected strategic initiatives.

As a successful Marketing Program Manager, you apply program management and business acumen with a dash of creative problem solving, and bring thought-leadership to every key decision. You are a self-starter and natural collaborator, able to partner and learn from peers across the organization and globe so that we can quickly and easily adapt at pace. Your mindset is global and scalable, but your approach is tactical and practical. You're motivated by the opportunity to make a deep impact through program managing across a Global, Region and Local team that maximizes the impact in order to improve horizontal collaboration.

This is a temporary position with an anticipated length of 3-6 months with the possibility of an extension. This will be a fully remote position based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide clients and team members through the program initiative for each new product.
  • Lead change across Marketing in partnership with Managers by reinforcing the use of the program. Do this by holding cross-functional teams accountable and celebrating and highlighting wins when we see the positive behavior change.
  • Partner with all cross-functional teams to improve collaboration through the use. Drive efficiency and consistency across numerous teams within the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with 50+ stakeholders to maintain timelines and deliverables, manage and escalate risks, providing solutions to successfully move things forward.
  • Daily program prioritization, requirements gathering, scheduling, and coordination of cross-functional teams and approval processes.
  • Partner and collaborate with clients and partners on ways of working to enable the organization's program managers to enable successful landings.
  • High level of EQ/soft skills required to be successful at navigating the ambiguity of large, complex organizations with significant growth in a short amount of time.
  • Assess ambiguous problems, analyze, scope the solution and show impact; Create detailed program plans, success metrics, and align key stakeholders.
  • Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing and scaling programs for long-term success and sustainability.
  • Partner effectively on behalf of the business internally and cross-functionally to drive key programs, processes, and initiatives using program management tools like Smartsheet.
  • Provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.
  • Executive-level presentation skills.
  • Establish communications strategy and cadence for varied audiences.
  • Enable and foster culture across teams that unite collaboration, transparency, inclusion and well-being.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of program management experience within research or marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a complex and large organization.
  • Working knowledge of project management software.
  • Executive-level presentation skills.
  • High level of EQ/soft skills required to be successful at navigating the ambiguity of large, complex organizations with significant growth in a short amount of time.
  • Experience in marketing, program management, and building scalable processes.
  • Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills; ability to take data and distill it into a meaningful and coherent story.
  • Executive-level written and visual presentation skills, with effective oral communication capabilities with peers, management and cross-functional teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing current or future employer sponsorship.
