As the IT Services Intern at PAC Worldwide, your primary responsibilities will include imaging, staging, and deploying new computers; updating assets in our asset management database; and taking service desk support calls. The IT Services Intern role is a part-time temporary position (up to 6 months duration; up to 30 hours per week). You will report to the Director of IT Infrastructure.
This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Redmond, WA and will be paid minimum wage of $16.28/hour. It is a part-time (less than 30 hours/week) and not eligible for benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Image, stage, and install new computers in our manufacturing plants and warehouses
  • Receive, triage requests, and create requests from in-bound calls and emails
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with laptops, desktops, tablets, desktop and network printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage clients using remote support tools; maintain Active Directory and Office 365 accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Education:
  • You are currently working towards your Associate Degree and will graduate within the next 12 months, or
  • You are currently working towards your Bachelor Degree, and are a sophomore, junior, or senior, and
  • You have a minimum 3.00 GPA
  • You have completed, or are currently enrolled in IT courses related to desktop support, networking, server administration, operating systems, database administration, cybersecurity, or virtualization.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with Android, iPhone and iPad
  • You seek to understand others, treat everyone with dignity and respect, and have a passion for technology and providing amazing customer experiences
  • You exercise independent judgement, are inquisitive, and have a strong desire to learn
  • You believe in teamwork: helping each other win and take pride in each others victories
