Job Description

Sales Content Design Manager

The Sales Content Design Manager is part of the Platform Sales Enablement team and is responsible for designing, drafting and producing world-class sales and business development collateral. You will need to effectively and accurately develop a story for pitches and ideas to help drive value, generate sales, and set up products for success -- showcasing for all why this product is better at FIS. You will own and maintain all collateral for Platform sales and business development. You will need to ensure materials are up to date with product enhancements and distribute this to all key stakeholders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Create world-class sales and business development collateral used during the sales process across various business level executives.
  • Continually elevate existing sales collateral to ensure it is aesthetically pleasing and engaging while also portraying accurate product detail.
  • Center messaging on value and business outcomes to ensure sales content resonates with our target audience
  • Maintain all working versions of Platform product sales to reflect changes to the product, business strategy, market positioning, etc.
  • Partner with marketing to develop assets that compliment sales material including press releases and trade show assets.
  • Work closely with the GTM planning team to clearly showcase the messaging and value propositions of each product as well as reflecting accurate state of the product.
  • Partner with GTM planning and sales training to create and maintain product specific sales playbooks, case studies and battlecards to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Assess and drive effective storage mechanism for centralized sales content storage

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating written business collateral with astrong aptitude for design, including working through original ideation of content all the way through completed work product. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with marketing, sales and go-to-market planning activities, have experience selling to a variety of customer types including banks, enterprise customers and fintech.

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Marketing (PMM), GTM Management, sales content creation, content marketing or other relevant role
  • Experience creating sales and marketing content across multiple formats is required
  • Familiar with value proposition or product marketing frameworks (ex. 'Crossing the Chasm')
  • Experience with technology platform or financial services products is a plus
  • Distinctive and creative writing and design skills to write compelling business communications as well as design it in a visually appealing format.
  • Core understanding of value-based selling techniques, and ability to highlight business outcomes (not just features and functionality)
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of building strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to be a thought leader to provide big-picture thinking on top of industry expertise
  • Be resourceful inside and outside of the organization to creatively solve problems as they arise
  • Strong executive presence, communication and leading through influence skills
  • Methodical and organized, able to effectively manage competing priorities, project management a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and fostering strong relationships and establishing credibility with clients as well as internal teams
  • Superb copywriting and/or technical writing skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $108,170.00 - $181,720.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
