SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the ERP (Syteline) system to meet the organization's business needs and objectives. This individual contributor role will have the responsibility to ensure the success of the ERP system.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and maintain an accurate understanding of Senior Flexonics business practices and utilization/application within the Syteline system.
  • Provide business support and maintenance for solutions in the Senior Flexonics Syteline solution.
  • Define and document any new business requirements, needs, and processes tied to solutions.
  • Assist in the testing, configuration, administration, validation, and training of solutions.
  • Act as the liaison between business personnel and internal technical resources with regards to business practices and solutions within the Syteline environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement changes that drive continuous improvement in business processes and system capabilities.
  • Act as an internal process improvement consultant for internal groups looking to maximize their process, documentation and other work products surrounding user needs and requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and controls as related to solutions. Participate in and facilitate the prioritization, sizing, and business justification of future product enhancements.
  • Build and maintain relationships (through expertise and influence) with cross-functional and technology teams resulting in an environment of highly effective collaboration, communication, and execution of programs/processes across the organization.
  • Document detailed business workflows and requirements for process change.
  • Ensure pertinent system, user guide, and training documentation tied to solutions are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Analyze existing business processes and system configurations in Syteline ERP to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation. Evaluate the feasibility and impact of proposed changes on business operations and system functionality
  • Ensure seamless data flow between Infor Syteline and other business applications.
  • Develop and deliver a long-term strategy that helps support the overall business strategic ERP initiatives
  • Communicate in a professional and courteous manner.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Syteline products in a manufacturing and distribution environment
    • Experience in supporting Infor Syteline modules to meet the specific needs and requirements of the organization.
    • Experience with implementation and maintenance of system integrations,
    • Ability to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize the functionality of Infor Syteline.
    • Experience with integration of functional processes within Infor Syteline
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Knowledge of design, testing, and documentation of different states of the ERP system.
    • Knowledge of different Syteline modules, functionalities, and configuration options, including finance, manufacturing, inventory management, procurement, and order management.
    • Knowledge in setting up system parameters, defining workflows, creating custom fields, and modifying screen layouts to align with business requirements.

This is a fully onsite job at the office located in our Bartlett, IL facility.
