Summary:

Justrite Safety Group is looking for an Account Support Specialist to join their operations at the Mattoon, IL or Wellsburg, WV facility. The position reports to the Account Support Specialist Supervisor. The purpose of this position is to serve as the key contact for both external and internal customers regarding all product lines. As well as a key contact for our external sales team. Problem solving, decision making, and communication skills are required to maximize the focus on customer relationship management, also working well in a team environment. The ability to review and recommend improvements and enhancements within Customer Service. This position is also responsible for generating new sales opportunities through analysis of distribution and penetration of various channels working the respective Sales Reps. The position also requires review of current markets, analyze competitor share, and recommend opportunities to bundle Justrite and work with Sales Reps to gain market share.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary point of contact for assigned distributor accounts; inclusive of:
    • Triage incoming communications and delegate to correct ownership people by topic:
    • Sample and literature requests, Special price requests, Custom quotation requests, Field sales special requests, information on deployed programs, etc.
  • Workflow owned for named set of distributors inclusive of:
    • Own Scorecard performance for Justrite, Eagle, Checkers and Notrax
    • Consolidate internal reporting of scorecard performance, problem solving and score card actions
    • Bring operations team together for and own the outcomes of problem-solving efforts against score card.
    • Perform consistent inventory analysis to ensure high service level by SKU
    • Generate, socialize and maintain open order reports and drive outbound communications needed on any LT changes.
    • Own forecasting inputs from account to operations for changes to future forecasts.
  • Review distributor website and maintain any data portals inclusive of:
    • Review website content for accurate and strategically aligned content by sku to ensure both accuracy of information as well as competitive comparison of lead times, pricing and technical content.
    • Maintain any data portals for distributor information exchange, and ensure accurate information flow bi-directionally as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to work in a team environment; assertive, persuasive and diplomatic
* Ability to prioritize and organize a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
* Must have initiative and ability to achieve objectives with minimal direction
* Decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Professional telephone etiquette (soft skills)/excellent communication skills
* Computer skills within a Windows environment, MS Office, Excel and MAPICS
* Ability to analyze information and develop recommendations to present to management
* College degree in business area preferred
* 2-3 years in a fast paced customer service environment
