thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. With roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites in seven different countries, thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies has sales of over one billion euros and operates over 50 forging press lines and more than 150 machining and assembly lines in seven countries. The product portfolio includes undercarriage systems for heavy machinery as well as crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, chassis products, transmission systems and rotor shafts for the automotive industry.
Your responsibilities
The Maintenance Tech reports to the Maintenance Team Leader and is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of plant machinery as well as conducting preventative maintenance checks.
Your profile
Diagnose, troubleshoot, update and repair malfunctioning plant equipment Perform routine mechanical or machining maintenance activities on equipment Perform daily checks of plant support systems including air compressors, fire suppression, and machine chillers; take readings, fill out corresponding checklists, and turn in weekly Participate in preventative maintenance program based on OEMs (Original Equipment Manuals) for plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities Maintain record of work orders, repairs done, and parts used
