Job Summary:
Electric/Electronics Assembler I work in the manufacturing environment performing a variety of duties. Processes include the use of basic hand tools, chemical applicators, and general testing equipment. This Assembler I position is responsible for output of assigned requirements to meet the needs of the production environment.
Along with the use of technical drawings and/or written work instructions, Assembler I workers support the production environment goal by supplying required sub-assemblies and performing finishing operations to Vehicle Ignition Interlock Devices. Assembler I work is usually done individually or in a team structure and Assembler I workers must be able to work well with others as well as be comfortable in a production environment. Assembler I workers report to a Production Supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Disassembly/Assembly of Electronic Devices
Perform repetitive tasks with a high rate of accuracy
Flexibility of Duty; must be able to perform multiple duties during the course of a shift
Acute attention to detail; identification of similar devices as well as performing intricate tasks to standard
Understand and Implement Written and Verbal Instruction
Basic level Computer Skills
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, cutters, wrenches, etc.
Be able to sit at a workspace for the duration of the workday
Skills/Abilities:
Computer Skills Proficiency Preferred
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
