We are looking to hire aQuality Control Technician for our Industrial Manufacturing group Cape Girardeau, MO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Select and set up welding equipment.
  • Weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Test current and new welders to company standards and policies
  • Maintain company welder certifications and continuity logs.
  • Assist the pre-construction team with new bids and estimates to ensure compliance with code and specification requirements.
  • Perform on site quality audits to assist PMs and Superintendents in spotting issues early and lead the effort in building a healthy quality culture company wide.
  • Inspect welds and ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance/inspection on welding equipment and tools to maintain calibration standards.
  • Support projects as a subject matter expert and be a resource for problem solving.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CWI certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in pipe welding and construction.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
