Job Summary:
Provides management for an education, research &/or operations program/project, recommending goals, assessing feasibility and ongoing performance & providing day-to-day oversight of administrative & operational functions.
Reporting to the Director of Native American and Indigenous Affairs, the Program Coordinator plays a key role in the development, implementation, and administration of university-wide Native American and Indigenous Affairs at Northwestern. This person is an integral member of the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion team and the broader Office of the Provost.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Director of the Center for Native American and Indigenous Research and the Dean of the School of Education and Social Policy to plan and execute events related to philanthropic education.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-year term role, with the potential for extension based on available funding.

Please note: This position works with students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners and is required to work some evening events throughout the academic year and to participate in events on campus. The position also entails occasional travel to off-campus meetings and professional conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:
The target hiring range for this position will be between $52,000 - $58,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
