SUMMARY
WHAT IS DISA JITC TEC II? DISA's mission is to conduct DODIN operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our Nation. DISA is a combat support agency of the Department of Defense (DoD). The agency provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission across the full spectrum of military operations. Agile-Defense is seeking a Red Hat Linux System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) II contract
The selected candidate support the FGGM lab environment. Provide all activities related to Linux Red Hat Administration. STIG the lab environment on a regular basis. Monitor JITC remedy tickets and respond as required. Stay up to date on any emerging technology and/or updates that may benefit the customer. Maintain regular communication with all customers and programs connected to this task.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide Red System Administration support to meet JITC Testing and Evaluation (TE) requirements to JITC and other Department of Defense (DoD) services and agencies.
* Maintain the current FGGM Lab.
* Conduct Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (installing, configuring, patching, troubleshooting)
* Provide YUM Server configurations and administration
* Conduct DISA STIGs, SCAP scans.
* DNS IPv6 configuration and management (some knowledge of)
* Provide VMWare 6.7 (some administration, use, maintaining)
* Conduct ACAS/Nessus scanning (some scanning required to manage and implement RHEL updates)

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Certifications
* Security+ or equivalent certificate

Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Requires a Master's degree; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's and at least 6 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Master's degree.
* Additional certifications (other than those required for the position) in the area of specialization may be substituted for experience but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions
* Government site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands
* Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
