Key Account Manager - East

This role exists to ensure we cultivate and maintain relationships with our most attractive accounts in the market by positioning ourselves as a strategic partner providing real value to our accounts and implementing critical business initiatives. The Key Account Manager will focus in three critical areas, deepening relationships with our existing customers via our partnership program, driving growth among our top Lyric providers, and cultivating new business within the region.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Execute initiatives to protect and grow our most valuable accounts in the US, and to gain new business from the most attractive targets
  • Work closely with partnership program members as a strategic partner in critical areas of business
  • Execute key initiatives
  • Identify partnership program target accounts
  • Create and monitor sales funnel for target accounts
  • Complete RKAM certifications and curriculum as assigned
  • Engage with key Lyric providers to drive revenue growth and daily wear adoption
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures, including documenting customer visits in Salesforce
  • Maintain timely and accurate expense reporting in Concur
  • Comply with all local, state and federal laws and requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Success will be measured by:
    • The sales performance of the top accounts within their geographic area of coverage, as identified as defend / grow / acquire targets
    • The number of partnership program members vs goal
    • The increase in SOW (share of wallet) among members
    • The compliance of program members to their individual commitments
    • Revenue growth within top Lyric accounts
    • Growth among Tartgeted accounts within the region

Travel up to 75% will be required in this role

Education and Skillset:

  • 5+ years related experience around value added services, business consulting or related field
  • Experience in the hearing healthcare industry and/or business consulting preferred
  • Action oriented, competitive, develops own talent, drives for results, grit, takes responsibility/accountability, change agent, comfortable with long-term gratification, courageous, curious/inquisitive
  • Proficient knowledge of HI technology and industry practices, appropriately independent
  • Experience fitting Phonak technology preferred
