Position Summary:
Cboe's Compliance Department is looking for an ideal candidate to oversee and drive the maturity of the Cboe Records Managment Program ("RMP"), ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in record and information governance operations, program development, and strategy. Effective communication and project management skills and experience with records management software applications and document management systems are essential.
Responsibilities
Oversee the records management processes related to physical and electronic records.
Create an initial communications strategy, to be updated on an on-going basis to manage the initiatives.
Support conformance to records management policy with the implementation and maintenance of controls.
Oversee records retention schedule agreed to by stakeholders in Compliance and Legal.
Prepare metrics and reporting for management and stakeholders about the records management process.
Partner with Technology regarding the expansion and maintenance of the records management program.
Policies/Procedures/Training
Assist in the development of related policies and procedures, including providing input into business processes.
Assist in design, implementation and enhance compliance governance and controls.
Assist in developing relevant training modules, both recurring and ad-hoc, to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.
Provide compliance support to internal and external reviews and/or examinations of the program as required, including assisting with risk assessment, planning, and remediation of reviews.
Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in Records/Information Management, with an understanding of record retention obligations and risks
Experience developing, deploying and maintaining innovative processes/methodologies/technologies for records and information management.
A high level of comfort with information technology as it relates to record and information management.
Ability to take a risk-based approach to issues, think critically and ask challenging questions.
Self-motivated individual with ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure.
