Job Description

The Learning Coordinator I is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Retail Learning & Development's (L&D) classes, participants, and schedules. The Learning Coordinator I provides ongoing administrative and office support for the training team. This role works independently as well as part of team; location is flexible. A successful candidate possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Creates training events in the Learning Management System (LMS) and L&D tracker
  • Maintains class and participant records within the LMS and the L&D tracker
  • Periodically audits system data to ensure employee and learning history accuracy
  • Manages class enrollment process
  • Manages Home Equity and Business Certification tracking and scheduling
  • Responds to colleague email and phone call requests
  • Creates and distributes standard and custom email notifications to learners including class invitations, pre-work instructions and Outlook schedules
  • Assigns new employee learning tracks
  • Schedules and coordinates Skype learning sessions
  • Coordinates and tracks enrollment in outside training for employees
  • Documents completion of required compliance courses
  • Maintains and coordinates assigned department training reports, ad hoc reports, metrics and dashboards
  • Reviews and keeps track of training expenses
  • Coordinates Management training program requirements and activities
  • Coordinates video teller program
  • Periodically tests PC's and other equipment in training locations

Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates room and catering arrangements
  • Assists in classroom set-up
  • Coordinates the printing, reproduction and binding of in-house training materials
  • Schedules subject matter experts for classroom participation
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
  • Assume other responsibilities as required

Education, Experience, And Other Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • Demonstrates intermediate computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and additional applications as needed to fulfill job duties
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Minimum 5 years prior office or branch experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to training locations and branches throughout the network
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
