Job Description

Purolite, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to support Water Purity Solutions (WPS) in driving growth through strong strategic and product marketing capacity. As part of WPS leadership team, this role provides vision to the WPS segment and region marketing strategy and is critical to sustain existing business and promote continued growth within North America. The successful candidate will be an established, proactive, dynamic, agile, and innovative strategic marketing leader with product marketing experience. This individual will be a close partner for WPS's Sales and Service organization, Operation, Supply Chain, Regulatory, RDE, and the Purolite Business team.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze market opportunities through research and market data; assess competition and evaluate potential market expansion opportunities.
  • Lead analysis to identify WPS geographic expansion and M&A target through collaboration with Purolite Industrial team and Corporate Development team.
  • Lead acquisition due diligence to drive successful acquisition.
  • Lead development of segment marketing plan and go to market strategy. Establish and maintain a strategic marketing plan for product mix and offerings.
  • Work with the sales leaders to create product sales strategies based on the strategic marketing plan
  • Develop outcome based, usage-based business model to improve margin for service Deionization, enabled by digital service
  • Publish Total Value Delivered & eROI case study quarterly to develop depository for both internal training and external communications
  • Maintain and upgrade WPS marketing collateral and digital marketing, including outbound to inbound lead generation, and search engine optimization
  • Recommend product and service pricing based on market research, operation costs and anticipated demand
  • Drive marketing insights to action, understand price-volume equation to advise strategy for profitable growth strategy.
  • Drive annual tradeshow planning and content delivery
  • Drive internal communication deliverable such as Townhall, news-letter.
  • Own WPS Core+ content and strategy to leverage the site.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in technical field, such as engineering, or chemistry
  • Minimum ten years of experience in the resin/deionization/engineering/membrane/water industry
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to communicate strategy across all levels of organization and ability to drive execution of strategy
  • Strategic mindset, customer focused with ability to exercise sound judgement
  • Effective relationship management and a strong team player, ability to network, support and influence across the entire organization
  • Effective communication skill for internal and external audience at various level
  • A history of driving continuous improvement and investment in high growth businesses
