Position Summary:
$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS - EXTERNAL ONLY
Under supervision, the Lead Radiologic Technologist oversees technical procedures, patient care and work flow in Invasive lab area, including Cardiac, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and Neuro, to ensure safe and effective patient care. Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Responsible for initial and annual training and competencies.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in Radiology
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
IEMA Radiography License Illinois OR Temp IEMA Radiography License
Radiography (R)(ARRT) within 3 months of hire
BLS within 30 days of hire
ACLS within 1 year of hire
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Note: These requirements are subject to overrule at the discretion of Invasive lab manager/director. requirement is overruled based on the needs of the department. Manager will be consulted to overrule if applicant is qualified to support the job duties. Must have successfully completed 12 months of employment as a Rad Tech, and must have successfully completed three (3) years of employment with Carle as RT in HVI Procedure Center to be eligible for Level 4.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment. Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement and initiative. Super User for invasive lab equipment and inventory.
