Description

Your Role: Responsible for supporting collections research and underwriting risk of prospective and current Dot Foods customers and suppliers.

  • Underwrites risk of prospective and existing customers & suppliers, analyzing and evaluating credit worthiness of each account.
  • Effectively communicate changes in credit with appropriate customers.
  • Execute credit limit methodology and complete assigned number of credit limit reviews each period.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into customer bank relationships, financial statements, and trade references.
  • Review industry periodicals for information relating to Dot's customers.
  • Research root cause issues contributing to aged outstanding amounts due to Dot.
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Role Specifics:

  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for internal trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

We Need You To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field or equivalent Dot Foods experience.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including a good working knowledge of V-Lookup and Pivot Table functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.

  • Thorough understanding of general bookkeeping or accounting information.
