HARIBO of America is in growth mode! We are adding aBrand Manager to our team. The Marketing Brand Manager position is responsible for developing the long-term strategy for their assigned HARIBO product line/brand (example: GoldBears, Happy Cola, Twin Snakes, etc). Located on-site at our corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the Marketing Brand Manager position includes assisting with building market positioning, developing brand promotions, and developing and executing integrated marketing plans.

ThisBrand Manager position is an individual contributor role on our Marketing team. Within HARIBO, the brand management team defines the assigned brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, innovation pipeline, and oversees advertising and promotion strategies for their assigned HARIBO brand/product line, ultimately responsible for delivering its profit, volume and market share objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assigned HARIBO product lines/brands, oversees advertising and promotion strategies for their assigned HARIBO brand/product line, ultimately responsible for delivering its profit, volume and market share objectives
  • Utilize syndicated data and other sources of data to provide insight on the brand, category, consumer, customers, and competitors.
  • Lead execution of certain marketing plans including consumer promotions, social media programs (via third-party agencies), sampling events and other marketing plans
  • Act as primary point of contact for support initiatives, tasks, and project work related to assigned HARIBO brand
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to executive initiatives from conceptualization to execution
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive work experience in brand marketing or related field within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience with IRI, Neilsen, or other syndicated data
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver initiatives that have been realized and contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Willingness to be equal parts strategic and tactical
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders
