Shift: Full-time, Days

The Heart Failure/Cardio-Oncology Clinic is an outpatient clinic space focused on the management of complex HF and patient with cancer who have cardiac complications.

Job Description

  • To promote efficient and quality patient care to Baptist Health Paducah (BHP) Heart Failure (HF) clinic patients, by collaborating with the HF nursing and provider staff while performing within the scope of practice.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the department by performing clerical and receptionist's duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area.
  • To contribute to the organization of the care provided to patients in the HF clinic, thus promoting optimal patient outcomes, efficient throughput and increased collaboration with the HF team.
  • Collaborates with all team members to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. Provide ability to perform complete and detailed medication histories during the check-in process.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Recent experience in a health care setting providing patient care, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, and previous phlebotomy/point of cart testing preferred.
