Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Operations, theBusiness Development Managerhas primary responsibility for driving revenue growth and increased share for our core Belt Drive, mounted bearing products, and services offering to the N.A. HVAC Aftermarket. The role is a key partner in developing and implementing sales strategies to Wholesalers and Direct OEM's serving the HVAC Industry. The role will coordinate the development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising, and promotional programs and ensure their execution. These duties will be carried out through a strong, close partnership with other account representatives in Industrial Equipment as well as our Product Management and Strategic Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers consistent Belt Drive and Bearing revenue and share of growth at targeted accounts
  • Evaluate and understand customer needs and requirements to build a winning account and sales strategy
  • Understand individual end markets and develop market sales plan to drive growth through existing and new account targets
  • Communicate the values and advantages of products to prospective customer
  • Be the key customer advocate by solving problems, answering questions and enhancing ease of doing business.
  • Schedule and execute day-to-day activities to maximize revenue growth and effectiveness. A wide degree of creativity, flexibility and latitude is expected.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • Typically reports to a senior manager and supports a business with a revenue scope of $50m - $200m.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; preferably in marketing, engineering, or sales management
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in industrial product sales
  • Strong background in the Commercial HVAC industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able/willing to travel to meet customers - up to 50% travel
