LSSI is hiring afull-timeCounselor Case Manager.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling services for clients experiencing co-occurring disorders in a clinical and culturally sensitive manner for our Substance Use Outpatient treatment program located within MADO Healthcare residential facilities.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9:30AM to 6:00PM

Essential Functions:
  • Provide a continuum of counseling services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and alcohol/drug related conditions and/or problems using a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Engage potential clients, explain LSSI Outpatient programs, treatment options and requirements to potential clients, and complete intake screenings.
  • Completes assessment of needs or required services, and identifies and counsels clients on most suitable treatment options in consideration of needs, available resources and payment options; evaluates appropriateness of available treatment options to ensure proper placement; completes required paperwork related to screenings, assessments (biopsychosocial), and evaluations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions (ASAM Levels 0.5, I, II.1, continuing care), and psychoeducation.
  • Responsible for caseload and the associated documentation, including treatment planning, continuing care, case management and discharge plans; monitors progress and participant's response to treatment.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationship with MADO staff; attend weekly clinical meeting.
  • Maintain weekly performance productivity.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field strongly preferred but not required.
  • Professional certification or licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, or CADC) within one year of hire date.
  • Maintain professional certification or licensure and pursue internal and/or external training and development opportunities.
  • Annual TB test required.
  • Background check required.
  • Experience in substance use treatment field strongly preferred.
  • Covid-19 vaccination (CMS Mandate).
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams or other telehealth platform.
  • Knowledge and experience using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria to make accurate diagnoses of substance use disorders and treatment recommendations.
  • Ability to adhere to professional standards of ethics.
  • Must be able to travel between MADO Healthcare locations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • A current and valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation, in order to travel to various locations to conduct assessments and meet with potential clients.
