Our Company is seeking a Die Cutter Operator to work 3rd shift (10pm-6am). The purpose of this job is to perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operations of the Bobst Die Cutter. Responsible for the safety if the crew, quantitative, and qualitative die cutter performance.

Requirements

  1. In depth knowledge of mechanics and capabilities of die cutting press
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude/skills
  3. Requires experience running, troubleshooting and quality control.
  4. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  5. Understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, setup the die cutter and carry out instructions.
  6. Strong math and computer skills required.
Essential Functions:
  1. Responsible for set up and operation of Bobst die cut equipment to accurately product to customer specifications.
  2. Maintains general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment.
  3. Follows all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job and position.
  4. Performs routine adjustments during the press run and maintains production throughout the run.
  5. Ensure information is communicated between shifts.
  6. Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
  7. Keeps work area neat and clean.
  8. Performs other job duties as assigned.
  9. Ensure company safety quality and production standards are met.
  10. Ability to stand eight plus hours per day.
  11. Ability to work overtime.

Education

High School Diploma/GED is a requirement.


Physical
  1. Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping
  2. Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours.
  3. May be exposed to hot/humid and/or duty work environment.
  4. May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors.
