PROJECT MANAGER - (REMOTE FIRST OPPORTUNITY) 

Our one-of-a-kind healthcare strategy and marketing firm has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager.  We are seeking someone who is a collaboration catalyst, meticulously organized, proactive, and dedicated to ensuring seamless execution of projects.


This person will lead project management of key campaigns, ensure efficiency and timeliness, and help optimize processes to provide operational excellence. The position is responsible for managing logistics and timelines while supporting multiple internal and client stakeholders. Has a firm understanding of the general needs of each account.

THE POSITION
  • Manages the internal functioning of an account to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations
  • Develops and maintains internal and client-facing SOWs and budget-tracking documents
  • Develops initial project timelines and takes responsibility for ensuring on-time deliverables, while also assessing risk management, resource allocation, and scheduling, in partnership with Workflow and Production Manager
  • Participates in team and client status meetings. Partners with Strategic Planning to develop and maintain client status reports.
  • Coordinates with the Workflow and Production Manager and other departments (Art, Copy, Strategy, Digital) to answer project-related questions
  • Leads the client PRC process including PRC submissions and meeting attendance
  • Creates and maintains project folders so relevant documents are appropriately cataloged
  • Participates in key client meetings, such as POA planning, and organizes next steps, such as timeline development and project scoping
  • Project manages live client events (either in the office or on-site) and provides live on-site event management support as required
  • Collaborates with the Accounting team on accruals and budget management
  • Communicate issues or concerns to the appropriate team members in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitors and communicate individual hours and budget status of projects
  • Keeps supervisor informed of all important business-related matters
  • Adheres to DDMAC guidelines and PhARMA codes; develops and implements tactics accordingly

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is performed remotely, with periodic visits to the office as needed and required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, and EDUCATION
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or other related field or equivalent experience is required
  • 2+ years of project management experience. Knowledge and prior experience in marketing, and communication or advertising agency experience is a plus. ideally in a management consulting firm, agency, or pharma company
  • Experience with operations or traffic a plus
  • Project management of interactive & digital experience is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of the creative process and terms is desired
  • A solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and develop detailed work plans and specifications
  • Expertise in using MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
  • Provide exceptionally detailed devlerables including attention to formatting and grammar
  • Previous experience with project management software and other scheduling systems are a plus
  • Effective meeting facilitation
  • Ability to multi-task, think critically and creatively
