Job Description

Required to work from Rosemont, IL Headquarters with a hybrid arrangement, Monday-Thursday in office and Fridays are remote.

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Project Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of supply chain cross-functional projects in alignment with business strategy, including process improvement, project implementation, change management, root cause analysis, and supplier collaboration. The position is part of the Supply Chain team and will have supplier, customer and senior leadership facing interactions, requiring strong interpersonal skills. This role will lead projects focused on improving the overall supply chain performance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget..

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Manage small to large cross-functional projects. Responsible for on time, in full delivery of assigned projects
  • Develop specific action plans to identify and address opportunities for improvement by leveraging internal and external data analysis
  • Provide recommendations for solutions, ongoing updates, including escalation of any risks, delays, or challenges to project progress
  • Align with supplier(s), internal stakeholders, and customer(s) on shared metrics and targets
  • Support creating, pulling, and publishing the shared metrics
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to improve distribution center and restaurant replenishment process including improving purchase order fill, on time delivery, lead time adherence, reduced order changes, etc.
  • Assist with creating or updating training materials including possibly the communication, training, and monitoring
  • Develop subject matter expertise for systems and processes across the company, our supplier(s) & our customer(s). Areas may include purchasing, planning, appointment scheduling, distribution, shipping, and claims
  • Serve as liaison between our supplier(s), distribution centers, supply chain planning teams, and our customer(s)
  • Participate in long-term strategic planning & continuous improvement
  • Drive the standardization of best practice processes, the measurement, and governance of those processes
  • Regularly communicate updates & results with stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Balance meeting business objectives and ensuring accountability while promoting collaborative and friendly environment
