Job Description

The Manager, Office of the President & Chief Executive Officer provides advanced comprehensive support to the President & CEO in the operations and strategic planning for the department as it relates to administration and budget planning. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the Medical/Administrative Strategy Committee, President's Staff and Quarterly Review meetings.

Essential Job Functions

1. Provides comprehensive, all-encompassing support to the President and Chief Research Officer.

2. Directs and manages department budgets including monitors expenditures, research's purchase options and prepares purchase requisitions and invoices.

3. Oversees and participates in the development and administration of the department budget.

4. Approves expenditures and implement budgetary adjustments as appropriate and necessary.

5. Develops and administers sponsorship event budget.

6. Serve as liaison between president & CRO and employees, families, visitors, volunteers, donors, and Board Members, handling requests in an efficient and timely manner.

7. Performs other duties and responsibilities inherent to the position.

8. Serve on Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) as member-at-large to provide leadership, guidance and support for the competency and career development of administrative professionals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or 15+ years' experience in comparable leadership role in lieu of degree.

2. Must have a professional, collaborative approach; project management skills; a depth of experience working with the C-suite/executive level leaders; a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality; and excellent sense

of judgment.

3. Extensive experience in organizational planning, resource utilization and office administration.

4. Demonstrate ability to successfully manage multiple deadline driven priorities simultaneously.

5. Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

6. Adept in creating complex documents, presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and business correspondence.

7. Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required.
