Job Description
Assignment: June 3 - August 16, 2024, 8 hours per day
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (excluding holidays
Rate of Pay: $15.50 per hour
Location: Winnetka Campus and Northfield Campus
Supervisor: User Support Manager

Position Outcomes:
To provide front-line customer service to all of the school's users of instructional and administrative technology.

General Responsibilities:
This person is a key member of the summer User Support Team within the Technology Department providing front-line customer service to all of the school's users of instructional and administrative technology. This enthusiastic and solutions-oriented team manages users' incidents, and requests for accounts, hardware, and software.

Qualifications:
Experience working in customer service and technology support (preferred); use and understanding of various types of technology hardware and software applications.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to move hardware equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to move frequently about the work environment to perform duties.
Ability to work independently and stay on task.

Position Expectations:
Provides technology customer service.
Completes hardware and software support tickets.
Provides software support by performing compatibility testing, testing and deploying Windows 10 / Mac/ iOS images and clones, and performing file recovery, backup, and restore processes.
Provides hardware support by conducting assessment and repair of computers, mobile devices, IP phones, printers, projectors, Apple TVs, and audio/ sound equipment.
Performs hardware installation for computers, phones, Apple TVs, projectors, and wireless access points.
Updates IT databases by inventorying, locating, distributing, and replacing equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
