Responsibilities:

  • Initiating and developing measurable business strategies for the segments across the entire Otis Spunkmeyer product portfolio to achieve financial and volume objectives.
  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans by translating market research into usable insight, and prioritizing them based upon customer/channel impact while remaining consistent with key customer/channel strategies.
  • Serving as an expanded primary internal Marketing resource for sales and sales strategy teams.
  • Driving alignment within Aspire Bakeries for the Otis Spunkmeyer Brand to deliver sustainable growth and profitability, including synergies with omni-channel solutions, where feasible, to drive integrated cross-channel solutions for customer and consumers.
  • Identify and execute digital marketing support to evolve Otis Spunkmeyer's go-to-market for earned and owned media; collaborate with national account sales partners to maximize our presence with customer digital opportunities.
  • Developingprograms and brand activations that align with the strategic imperatives of key foodservice channels.
  • Supporting business development with select key non-commercial, distributor and national accounts against national initiatives.
  • Support both U.S. and Canadian foodservice teams; support U.S. In-store bakery team.
  • Leverage syndicated category, customer and consumer analytics to formulate insightful, data driven recommendations.
  • From the brand and marketing lens, aligning innovation cadence to support annual plan: pre-launch and launch timing with R&D, Project Management and Sales.
  • Developing programs and promotions with marketing agencies and effectively managing timelines and budgets.
  • Expand capability of data, analytics and exaction of primary Otis Spunkmeyer merchandising program.
  • Contributing to the segment media plans including print, direct mail, e-media and website.
  • Leading the brand and marketing contributions for all key foodservice industry trade shows.
  • Delivering volume and profit results that contribute to achievement of Otis Spunkmeyer's overall financial objectives. Incumbent will be responsible for the management of marketing and overhead budgets for their channel.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree OR high school diploma/GED plus significant related experience required. MBA preferred
  • Experience in the foodservice convenience, vending or alternate retailing segments. In-store bakery experience also desired.
  • Channel, Customer or Brand Marketing experience (preferred 5-7 years)
  • Digital native or digital passion person; digital analytics savvy
  • In depth knowledge of foodservice industry trends, foodservice category analytics, channel business dynamics, consumer dynamics and ability to develop integrated marketing communications plans to drive channel sales.
  • Ability to assimilate raw research into analysis, implications and recommendations with executive summary.
  • Experience in developing consumer and business-to-business promotions.
  • Experience in developing customer and business strategies.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Salary Range:$110,000 - $135,000

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
