What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

  • Perform sales activities on behalf of the company through travel, entertainment, and ongoing personal contact including the onboarding process of new customers.
  • Evaluate the service presented to customers to meet the terms outlined in their contracts and coordinate with necessary stakeholders to address any performance and contract terms concerns.
  • Provide and support sales forecasts, and operating budgets and lead the implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers through regular contact meetings as well as in-person visits to docks/terminals.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and utilize all areas of organization to improve service and prepare for future challenges.
  • Provide feedback to team regarding market trends and intelligence through regular customer contact and networking at industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and serve as customer advocate to ensure their needs are addressed, but meet the requirements of ACBL best practices.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, conferences and other events as assigned.

What we are looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry is required.
  • Proficiency in office productivity software such as MS Office.

Even better if you have:

  • 10+ Years of previous sales and marketing experience within the petrochemical industry is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of markets & commodities; negotiations, contract language; financial terms, principles, procedures, boat technology, and operations is preferred.
