Job Description
The Cox Enterprises Intelligent Automation (IA) Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an accomplished and strategic-minded Senior Manager, Intelligent Automation Product to build the IA Product Management team and capability for our IA program in collaboration with IA engineering team and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging your strategic prowess to position our organization at the forefront of the rapidly evolving landscape of IA. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of product management, IA technologies and a proven track record of successful implementation.

This is an Atlanta-based role and candidates must be willing to work a few days a week in office.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Organizational Development:

  • Implement goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to all aspects of Intelligent Automation (IA). Responsible for tracking and meeting those goals and ensuring adherence to those policies and procedures.
  • Drive innovation and stay abreast of emerging technologies in IA to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Partner with IBT team members and business stakeholders to drive objectives, governance, and relationships.
  • Enable proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business.
  • Manage and coach employees to increase engagement and performance levels.
  • Build and enhance a strong team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future needs of the business.
  • Support and sustain a culture of continuous improvement to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the IA CoE.
  • Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Leads Discovery sessions with stakeholders across divisions and to gain alignment.
  • Creates and communicates Product Roadmaps.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with stakeholders, adeptly defining and explaining priorities, negotiating in challenging situations, and managing expectations through clear and effective dialogue.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key corporate customers, ensuring they understand and value the services provided by the IA team and respond to feedback regarding opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across Cox divisions to ensure appropriate service levels are being provided.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service to Cox business operations.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into


Product Leadership:

  • Partners with the Product Leader to ensure the IA COE delivery teams are focused on the priorities of the portfolio and collaborates with Product leader on IA Epics.
  • Owns IA Features, managing prioritization, acceptance criteria, and developing meaningful metrics that show value.
  • Serves as a champion for IA across the enterprise.
  • Understands Agile Team ceremonies and the goals of each; knows how to play the Product role.
  • Actively contributes to the IA Product Strategy by comprehending the product landscape, framing problem statements, and adeptly communicating the rationale behind strategic decisions (the "why").
  • Applies critical thinking to evaluate and act on IA opportunities.
  • Utilizes stakeholder data to define and prioritize the work backlog.
  • Maps work directly to group and/or organizational goals.
  • Prioritizes holistic business problems over a technology-first mindset when analyzing alternatives.
  • Leads the team in effectively communicate the team's story; "Where we've been, what we are doing, and where we are going."
  • Leads and supports discovery on Investment considerations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate and frame problems, opportunities, or user needs to generate dialog and fresh ideas.
  • Active part of the Product Community of Practice; includes mentoring, coaching, aligning.
  • Leads activities to analyze product financial performance and instigates required improvements in the use of available budget to meet real needs.


Technical Leadership:

  • Expert understanding of IA and how it can be used to solve business problems and create value for the enterprise.
  • Partners with technical leadership to understand technical challenges and collaborates with solutioning.
  • Stay abreast of new IA & AI technologies to ensure that the solution portfolio continually evolves to ensure user requirements are met and exceeded.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8+ years' experience in a related field with at least 3 years' experience in a management/leadership role; or a Master's degree and 6+ years' experience; or a Ph.D. and 3+ years' experience; or 12 years' experience in lieu of a degree in a related field.
  • Experience in business process improvement and/or automation with a strong understanding of business processes, workflows, and process mapping.


Preferred:

  • Proven knowledge of the Intelligent Automation landscape including RPA/RDA, OCR/IDP, Process Mining/Intelligence with tools such as UiPath, Celonis, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Professional experience owning Product Strategy and working with Agile Product Teams.
  • Experience in corporate back-office and/or shared services functions.
  • Experience within a center of excellence.
  • Experience in telecommunications and/or automotive industries.


USD 129,100.00 - 215,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $129,100.00 - $215,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
