Job Description

This new full time position will provide staff development throughout the agency, and will coordinate and/or provide education, training, and/or activities that strengthen the quality of services provided by all Heritage staff. The Coordinator will have experience with providing evidence-based clinical practices, facilitating training programs, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects including program development and implementation. It is imperative the position supports the staff development of all staff in the organization based on their role, responsibilities, and needs, including yet not limited to, the continuum of clinical and non-clinical programs and administrative and/or support programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement programs related to workforce development including curriculum, trainings, and supervision
  • Communicate effectively with consumers, staff, community partners, and external partners
  • Onboarding and ongoing clinical and administrative trainings across clinical programs with a focus on those new to the field of behavioral health
  • Identify and monitor implementation of evidence-based practices and trauma informed practices
  • Provide evidence-based treatment trainings internally and to external partners
  • Identify and provide training that will benefit the organization as a whole
  • Develop and implement a program to support staff development and promote upward mobility opportunities including, yet not limited to, guiding career development including certifications and licensures
  • In partnership with Executive Team, Clinical Council, and Leadership Council, identify, schedule, and coordinate internal and external training opportunities
  • Track and report staff development and community events to the Director of Compliance monthly
  • The position will report to senior clinical leadership.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in behavioral health settings, supervision and leadership, and supports the agencies mission to strengthen staff engagement, and creating a quality workforce. Credential preferred for this position includes: Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined by a graduate degree in psychology, social work, human services or related field.

Valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation and proof of current automobile insurance are required.
