Position Highlights:

Position: Audiologist
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday
Required Travel: Downers Grove

What you will need:

Doctoral Degree in Audiology, or Master's Degree in Audiology if degree obtained prior to January 1, 2008 required
Current IL State Audiology License, or IL State Audiology License obtained within 60 days of position start date if a recent graduate of an Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation-approved audiology program.
Documented proof of passing the PRAXIS examination upon position start date if current IL State Audiology license is not held. If an IL State Audiology License is not obtained within 60 days of position start date, employee will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Experience with cochlear implants is required
Experience with fitting of programmable and digital hearing aids
Good communication skills

General Summary: Responsible for providing services in the diagnosis and evidenced-based treatment of hearing and balance disorders for people of all ages. Consults and counsels patients and their families regarding hearing loss, amplification, and related communication difficulties. Establishes a plan of care and implements individual treatment based on evaluation results, functional goals, and by utilizing proper techniques. Prescribes hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and hearing protection devices. Determines and administers treatment to meet patients' goals.ENT is opening a new location at Downers Grove site.Benefits:
