- Position: Public Safety Dispatcher
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital
- Full Time
- Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Friday - Tuesday (Weds/Thurs OFF)
What you will do:
- Monitor Security Systems across Edward-Elmhurst Campus locations
- Intake new alerts, monitor alerting systems
- Dispatch appropriate support
- Coding incoming alerts
- Position will utilize critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, and respond quickly.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED level of education
- Minimum one year experience as a telephone operator or equivalent;
- To be at least 21 yrs of age by date of hire.
- Able to type at least 40 wpm.
- Valid State of Illinois Drivers License
