Based at our LEED platinum-certified manufacturing facility in Chicago and reporting to the People + Environment Director, this role is responsible for recruiting our newest People Against Dirty, with a focus on our Manufacturing + Warehouse Associate roles (our "Mover + Maker" roles) at the Southside Soapbox. The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on identifying, selecting and hiring amazing people that reflect the community in which we operate, through both direct hire and temp-to-hire methods to help meet the needs of our mission-driven, rapidly growing organization. This role will also provide recruiting support to technical and office role searches as needed. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for guiding candidates and our internal team through the process, with a focus on driving both quality and speed with our hiring decisions. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The Talent Acquisition Professional will:

  • Develop and execute staffing strategy to identify a diverse pool of quality candidates for consideration for our Mover + Maker roles, building a pipeline to support our growth as well as our capability to hire direct employees

  • Oversee temporary staffing partnerships, managing ongoing headcount orders/requests and partnering with people leaders on candidate decisions

  • Manage and drive full recruitment process including job description review, sourcing + screening, interview, feedback and final candidate selection process

  • Coordinate stages of the recruiting process, scheduling and communicating details to both candidates and interview teams, ensuring positive candidate and internal stakeholder experiences

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to make decisions and evaluate talent, assess and recommend candidates for their skill set and cultural contribution

  • Identify and drive creative sourcing strategies, including the development of strategic partnerships with local workforce development and industry programs to support our mission of hiring locally and providing opportunities for underserved populations

  • Own local employer branding and external communication in partnership with brand experience team

  • Provide regular reporting and tracking of key recruitment metrics within business unit and to parent company

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of recruiting / talent acquisition experience

  • 1+ year experience managing a high volume of hourly candidates in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelors Degree

PREFERRED:

  • Experience partnering with external staffing partners

  • Excellent communication, organizational + follow-up skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Strong computer + Microsoft Office skills; experience with applicant tracking system

  • Bilingual in Spanish
