Overview

TRC is seeking a highly motivated Roadway Engineer for our growing transportation practice in Rancho Cordova, CA. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic to work with other engineers, project managers, and other technical staff assisting with planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, such as the design of roadways.


Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in the production of project plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
  • Assist Project Managers with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews and coordination with Contractors.
  • Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development and site/field visits during design and construction.
  • Efficiently produce quality outputs while meeting budget and schedules on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in highway and drainage design.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel is required.
  • Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents (examples include software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, well organized, accountable and dependable.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (preferred).
Compensation: In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $75,000-$96,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $96,000.00 /Yr.
