As SHRM’s Director, Member Engagement, Laurie provides leadership to SHRM’s membership strategy and other engagement activities, including member networks, core leadership areas, student activities, special expertise panels and more. Laurie is an experienced HR professional with industry experience in health care, consumer packaged goods and banking. She has 20 years’ experience in developing, coaching and managing people/projects. Keeping abreast of changes in the HR profession is of utmost importance to her. She recently received her master’s degree in HRM from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN. Her bachelor’s degree is also in HRM from College of St. Mary in Omaha, NE. In addition she holds an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) designation.
