POSITION SUMMARY The Project Management Intern will focus on assisting the management of construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
SOME EXPERIENCE’S MAY INCLUDE
Partnering with safety to ensure safety programs are established and executed
Assisting with financial monitoring and reporting including cost monitoring, cost and revenue projections, change order logs, under/over billing reports, invoicing, vendor and subcontractor invoicing review and approval
Assisting with weekly quantities reported and complied in ViewPoint as well as keeping change order log up to date
Shadowing estimating review to understand strategies, risks, and opportunities
Assisting with reviewing and procuring any permits or licensing required
Assisting with project documentation including submittals, RFI’s, meeting minutes, work plans
Interacting with project ream, business leaders, and management
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Currently pursuing undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Safety and Health
Other applicable degrees include: Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.0
24 hours of college credits completed
Have a basic understanding of the construction industry and accepted business practices
