Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for directing and managing the project management teams for the Power Delivery group.  This position reports to the Director of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the oversight, assignment, training, and development of Power Delivery Project Managers
  • Ensure budget set-ups are completed with assistance of estimating and project manager
  • Review bids and contract documents during the project bidding and negotiations
  • Review financial reports weekly for each active project
  • Manage weekly production and financial call and ensure correct reporting
  • Assist as needed with purchasing to obtain purchase orders and subcontracts executed
  • Assist as needed with legal for contract reviews
  • Review monthly billing sheets for each project
  • Review change orders before submittal to clients
  • Review and report out monthly project forecasts, change orders to executive management teams
  • Attend monthly customer meetings as required
  • Perform year end reviews with direct reports
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering (prior field and management experience may be considered)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility construction and/or wind farm electrical construction
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing personnel and project management operations
  • PMP certification preferred

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have and maintain a valid state issued Driver’s License with driving record that meets Company’s risk management guidelines
  • Proficient in CPM Scheduling and Cost analysis
  • Proficient in Project Management Methodology
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
