Welcome to Foresight Mental Health. We're so glad you're considering joining our team.

At Foresight, we're committed to building culture from the inside out. We're thrilled to rank No. 26 in Glassdoor's 50 Best Places to Work for small- and medium-sized companies. Join a community that's changing mental health care for the better.

National Medical Director (remote - based in a Foresight major market)

Explore your passion for mental health care leadership while being part of an innovative community that's transforming the delivery of mental health care.

As a key part of the executive team and the highest-level medical leader for Foresight Mental Health, you'll build an integrated and coordinated care model. You're a collaborative and empowering leader who's successful at forming strong partnerships. At heart, you're a builder and problem-solver, and love to bring curiosity and innovative ideas to care models. You have the gravitas to build a strong following of medical professional partners across regions whose combined expertise empowers us to provide the best evidence-based care to our members (patients).

In this role, you'll lead Foresight's psychiatry team, which includes medical doctors and nurse practitioners, and you'll serve as an influential leader for our care teams and modalities, including therapy, neuropsychology, nutrition, transcranial magnetic stimulation and Spravato. You'll help ensure Foresight is a place that providers want to call their work home. And you'll maintain a small member base that will shrink as Foresight grows.

This is a full-time, salaried role.

What you'll do

  • Improve quality of care through the education of providers, oversight of quality assurance, and assessment and implementation of innovative care solutions
  • Recruit, manage and lead a team of 40-plus psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, nutritionists and psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Help to ensure Foresight's stewardship goals by partnering with operations on proper utilization, cost management and other financial programs
  • Assess, develop, implement and optimize innovative services in treatment, including digital diagnostics and therapeutics, virtual outcome monitoring tools, and unique value-based care programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state rules, regulations and codes of practice

What you'll bring

  • A medical degree and board certification in psychiatry
  • 10 or more years' experience in clinical medicine
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent managerial and organizational skills

What you'll receive

  • Competitive salary, bonus and equity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Paid time off, sick time, paid holidays
  • 401k with employer match
